Have a happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. And be sure to follow Dear Leader’s guidance and educate all your visiting relatives about the wonderfulness of Obamacare.
Yes, even encourage them to bring you their personal information so you can walk them through the application process as you show them what Dear Leader and the Kindly Reid-Pelosi-Sebeliuses have wrought for them. (Just think how helpful that’ll be to everyone’s digestion and mood!)
So seriously now* … What will you be grateful for tomorrow and in all the coming holidays?

* The Obamaites are apparently serious about ruining your Thanksgiving, as well as your health, your economy, and your country with their central medical planning. But could anybody who actually lives within reality possibly take those people’s advice seriously?
Actually, I am thankful in some way for Obama and his agenda. This administration has done more to awaken and anger the sleeping sheeples, that we should all be thankful.
Giving thanks for George Mason …

I’m thankful every day, pretty much equally, for life and health and the ability to help others. Had to cancel my holiday plans as I was very sick the last few days, something I’ve not had to deal with for a lot of years, and it gave me new perspective on how fortunate I really am. Almost over it now, so that is certainly one thing I’ll be grateful for tomorrow especially.
And yes, Kevin, I’m glad that the sociopaths in government at all levels are getting impatient and showing their hand so strongly.
I will be thankful that I am still able to put food on the table for my family (getting harder all the time), that I still have family to share it with, and rascally friends that make life better for many people.
The usual: Faith, family, friends, health. But also feeling very grateful these days for the gift of literacy, and for the handful of women who gave it to me. Almost all the best things in life spring from it.
I’m with Kevin. I kept telling people on gun forums that between Romney and Obama, or McCain and Obama, Obama was the better choice (although I didn’t vote). Gun owners would have fallen asleep during an R administration and we’d end up with more gun control than we have now. As it was, Obama has been the greatest gun salesman in human history.
American tend to be ornery critters. They like to do the opposite of what the rulers tell them to do. That is their best feature, I think.
I had surgery the first of the month, and according to my doctor my gall bladder was too pissed off to do it the easy way. So I’ll be thankful for being recovered enough to drive to our family reunion. There I’ll be thankful for eating turkey (two varieties) while wearing my Glock and not getting any grief over it.
We may discuss the ACA, but all of us have already been educated about its “wonderfulness.”
Happy Thanksgiving Claire and all you Commentariat!

Hilarious but true. However Americans also behave as all humans do when confronted with rampant corruption in government. As Francisco D’ Anconia said on his famous speech on the root of money, people are now considering pull they trading medium.
Anyhow glad to be alive. Cheers
I’m kind of thankful that the “talk about Obamacare this holiday!” site has a contact field with which I could let them know what I thought about this stupid idea. (I mean the website, not just Obamacare. The word count would not let me do that justice…)

Happy Thanksgiving Claire, including your furry babies. And to all who read here, too.
I’m thankful for one more day of waking up and being able to tackle whatever gets tossed at me next.
I’m thankful I bought a lot of guns, ammo, and reloading supplies years ago. 😉 And that I don’t have to think about work for 4 days.
Perhaps, every one else here should be thankful that I couldn’t find a video of The Smothers Brothers doing a “Thank You” song. It has to be out there somewhere.
I’m also thankful for:
Linux
DD-WRT
John Browning
John Garand
John Locke
Eugene Stoner
Nikola Tesla
Thomas Jefferson
Roy Buchanan
Camille Saint-Saens
and
Sigourney Weaver
I’ll second just about all of Jed’s list and add:
Sam Colt
Oliver Winchester
Gaston Glock
Edward Snowden
The Freedom Feens
and
Cody Wilson
Hey Claire…when a guy’s in my kind of spot, he’s thankful for just seein’ the soil from the top! But I’m thankful for your blog too, and everything you’ve done over the years, so thanks.
