(And yes, I know my fellow anarchists will chide me about various aspects of this. Nevertheless, it’s funny in a sad sort of way. And that border guard does tell the truth — perhaps even more than he knows.)
We may well shut down all the crossings and save the taxpayers a few bucks. No sense paying those guys to stand around and harass people while the real problem is flooding through the surrounding desert.
No, the REAL problem is the “state.” The “war on drugs,” the war on guns, and the war on people. Without that, immigration of any kind would cease to be a problem. As always, the government manufactures a “crisis,” then works overtime creating more of a crisis with each attempt to “cure” the last one.
I hope he doesn’t get in trouble, but he probably will. They’ll identify him and take”corrective action.” I don’t fault the agents at all. In fact, the statements that come from the Border Patrol Union mirror ours. They have even complained that they are not allowed to do their jobs. I’ve never heard of a union with that complaint.
