There’s a new gun blog in town

The Zelman Partisans.

I’m one of five or six volunteer writers. Nicki Kenyon kicked things off last week with a slam against a Bloomberg “mom” who’s blindingly ignorant of history.

Sheila Stokes-Begley made a pair of posts about her visit to Yad Vashem.

And I joined them yesterday with “Defense Distributed and the Spirit of Resistance.”

Enjoy!

Thanks, Karen and MamaLiberty. We have (at the moment) six volunteer bloggers. Five have agreed to post something at least once a week, so if everybody fulfills that pledge the place should remain lively and busy. We’re still getting up to speed, though, so we’ll see. Two of the bloggers are Jewish gunfolk. Two were born and raised Jewish, but are not religious now. Two of us are just “friends.”

    Bookmarked!

I’m glad to see this; have wondered what was going on among the “partisans” – and who they were.

Well done! (But I saw a certain irony in KeepAndBearArms-dot-com being in the Links sidebar.)

Bear — I see the same irony, however you’ll notice that a few other links are not there, and with good reason.

Claire, since it’s The Zelman Partisans links to a few other groups (SAF, NRA) would have shocked me. I figure KABA slipped through the cracks.

Anyway, I’ve blogged TZP, and added it to my links sidebar.

Thank you for the very strong blogitude, Bear.

It wasn’t so much that KABA slipped through the cracks as that Nicki (who set up the initial links) still has a fondness for it due to old associations.

BTW, I see that Mas Ayoob is today trumpeting the fact that only one JPFO member quit because of the sellout to SAF. Only ONE. Conveniently, he appears never to have bothered to ask Doug or Sue of the old JPFO office about the weeks they spent responding to demands and protests from JPFO members and corporate sponsors after the sellout was revealed.

Added to gunbloggers.com, should show up some time today after all the caches are flushed. Looks like there’s going to be a pile of good material there.

Got a problem, the PC I am using (library computer) won’t let me view the site. I get this message:

    Reason:

“Malware or exploits”? Yikes. I’ll send that message on to our tech types.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if a library or school blocked it because of gun content, but “exploits”? Will see what we can see …

Excellent start and bookmarked and the library computer is 99% blocked for anything with gun in it or pro 2nd amendment. That is the case here locally and elsewhere from what I have heard.

Bookmarked and shared, thanks. KABA eh, not so good but small spot. Well done and hope it keeps up.

    Bookmarked into my daily reads.

Ayoob is saying that only one member of JPFO quit because of the sellout? What an ignorant tool!

    Looking forward to this blog.

    thanks

Using the library computer, I can get on the websites of NRA, GOA, SAF, and JPFO with no problems. So I don’t think it’s the pro-gun content that is causing the problem.

Felinenation, I asked one of our web mavens about the problem. Haven’t heard back yet, though. Sorry.
