Well, so much for JustHost

Yesterday I said we’d have to wait to move the blog from JustHost because there was so much else going on.

It’s definitely true about the so much else. I was trying to post about Life, the Universe, Etc. this morning, but JH was doing its best to prevent that — just as you guys are increasingly reporting that JH is trying to prevent you from commenting or even reading the blog.

It’s obvious that the occasional 502 errors are becoming persistant, obvious that the slight slowness is becoming somewhere between laughable and impossible. Whatever’s wrong at JustHost is progressive and becoming intolerable.

So we’re on our way out. Right now. I don’t know how quickly the move will take place, but sometime — could be as early as later today, could be in the next couple of days — you may experience a slight disruption as we switch DNS servers. Don’t worry about it. That, too, will pass. You shouldn’t have to do anything but wait it out. No need to change bookmarks or to do anything at all. Just give the machinery of the Internet time to point ClaireWolfe.com to the new servers — then come on in and raise hell.

And believe me, the new host is so speedy you’ll be dazzled.
