- OMG. Someone’s planning a flying selfie camera. None of us will be safe from Other People’s Idiocy. (H/T MJR)
- True, Glenn Greenwald. And very well observed. Now, if the R-party had actually have done anything about all its noble self-criticism …
- Sigh. We’d probably still end up with a CIA director who wants Edward Snowden dead and an AG who thinks anti-gun Project Exile is the bee’s knees.
- OTOH, while Steve Bannon may be an ass, he’s not as bad an ass as the MSM paints him.
- And yet another member of some “anti-violence” or “anti-bullying” group shows her true colors.
- At TZP, Sheila writes about the Peshmerga (with some relief after listening to our own native whiners).
- I wrote the other day about AT&T wanting to co-rule the world (with the fedgov). Heh. Maybe they already do. Which would be kind of amusing, in a bleak, black way, to those who remember that old James Coburn movie.
- Well, since yesterday’s heartwarming story about a dog and a polar bear turned out to be a bust, have a kind, brave Russian man saving a dog from icy water.
- What the heck. The day seems to require some extra cheer. So have 17 dogs just barely following the rules.
The following ad contains products chosen by Amazon, not by me. And these ads can morph in weird ways depending on what I blog or what people link to in comments. It was full of Snowden-related stuff 15 minutes ago. Now sports gear and creepy spy gadgets. There’s just no telling.

“to those who remember that old James Coburn movie. ”
Great satire and James Coburn is such a cool character, one of my all-time favorite actors! He epitomized “cool”!
I’ve lost track as to how many times the US government has screwed over the Kurds. The 1970s; at the end of Desert Storm; now, in Syria. I vaguely recall another shafting, but it’s lost in the haze of time.
The GOP’s self criticism after 2012 was merely worthless virtue signaling, since the big donors kept them from considering the only right strategy, which was enforcing the border and at stopping 3d world immigration….http://www.unz.com/isteve/trump-won-on-the-issues/
Reading through these links, all I got to say is the next few years are going to be interesting.
Speaking of people showing their true colours, this is disappointing…

A friend with extensive experience in the Middle East thinks the world of the Kurds. They are tolerant of other religions and extremely brave. If we wanted to get rid of ISIS, all we would have to do is ask the Peshmerga what they need and start sending in the cargo planes. Then when it was calmed down they would trade with us. They’re just one of the peoples that TPTB (colonial) decided to split up into different countries, but the Kurds are too brave and determined to go away. My recollection is that the Israelis have sent military advisors there over the years. In the last several months Edrogan arrested at least a couple of the elected officials from the PKK (Kurdish People’s Party) in an extension of his crackdown. I haven’t followed it, so I really don’t know what has happened since.
God speed to the Peshmerga.
And Trump can make a real mess.
I pray he see fit to bring us together instead.
Maybe to much to ask for?
Spooky I’m thinking,
what we could maybe do, if we stopped biting at each other over drivel.
ps
The parasites carried are mostly created.
Tell them they can play too, and then we can maybe go to Mars.
Don’t know who does not want to be with a win.
I also think the state distain this, for it render it irrelevant.
