Donald Trump is about to be in control of the least accountable surveillance apparatus in the history of the world. That’s something that’s been expanding under Obama, and I think people were comfortable with that in the sense that they trusted his personal judgment.

Unfreaking believable that a) anybody would trust unaccountable politicians and bureaucrats, anywhere at any time; and b) that millions of people are apparently so willfully blind that they don’t realize that a “bad” administration will always make the worst of the opening some “good” administration left them.

I’m not surprised at the proposed C-16 discussed by Dr. Peterson.
Maybe twenty years back, there was a libel suit in British Columbia. The court agreed that the statements under protest were indeed factual. However, since publicizing those facts caused embarrassment to the complainant, the court held in complainant’s favor.

I do admire the way Dr. Jordan Peterson thinks! Thank you for that interview; there’s much to learn there. He may not know everything, but within the context of his interests–which are many, and constitute a “Renaissance Man”-type intellect–he has integrated his ideas quite rationally. Of course, no PC-SJW advocate will appreciate him, but at least he (and his videos) are on record.
