Tomorrow, Friday, December 30, will be Digital Day at Amazon. Yes, there are too many this-and-that days for buying things. But this one is apparently designed to enable you to fill up those devices you got for Christmas at bargain rates.
You may be all buyed out, and if so, peace and joy to you. But if you’re still shopping, you know where to enter the big giant store.
Claire,
I’m not a big Amazon or online customer, but I did place a small order through your link yesterday. I could see in the url some portion of Living Freedom initially, but when I went to the pages of the items I purchased, I didn’t see the Living Freedom info. I hope the purchase gets credited to you.
And Claire, I have a question: Does disclosing an Amazon order number allow another access to my information on Amazon such as street address?
The author of the book I purchased is offering some “free gifts” to those who buy his book, but he requires that you submit your Amazon order number and an email address to receive access to these “gifts. ”
I don’t know how disclosing my Amazon order number would verify I purchased a particular item unless this also provides access to my order history and other account information.
Adam — Thank you! It’s normal for the “livifree” code to disappear. I’ll still get proper credit. 🙂
As to a seller getting personal information if you disclose an order number to him: no. You should be fine. Amazon is extremely good about protecting buyers’ privacy from sellers. The author would only get your physical address if he was mailing you the book directly. If Amazon fulfilled the order, or if it was a Kindle book, the author would never see personal information about you.
Thank you Claire, and Happy New Year!
