Doings at the Cabal

Cabalistas (or people who might want to be): For those who haven’t visited the Cabal in a while, our community is growing and we have a little something for everybody going on in current discussions.

A sampling: We’ve got a thread on “things made with milk” (with the biggest thing being cheese, but plenty of related items, as well); there’s a discussion on the meaning of survival, both in terms of “survivalism” and in terms of life; and we’re extremely fortunate to be getting lessons in the art of statement analysis, a powerful technique for determining the truthfulness (or not) of people around us and of simply gaining insight into the character and backgrounds of others.

I’m leaving names or nyms out of this, but the person teaching statement analysis is an impressive up-and-coming freedomista with specialties in intel and OpSec. The cheesemakers are also well-known for their homestead skills and the starter of the survival discussion has also offered numerous threads of advice about off-grid emergency medicine.

In addition, we’ve got our usual off-the-wall humor, advice for novice food gardeners, economic analysis by Silver, and more. So c’mon down and join in.

It’s a place where you can let your hair down if you have any that is.

And if you don’t have any hair, who’ll know? Or you can let down your baldness.

It is a great place. But IMHO it still remains a little too small. And we’d like to get a few more 30- or 40-somethings in there. (Or younger, though the Cabal is definitely for the experienced and savvy.)
