Ya know, I bet sometimes I even exercise 3 or 4 rights at the same time. I don’t keep track. The one the ACLU likes the least is the one I exercise continually, too.

And that dog doesn’t look embarrassed to me. It looks proud to be the center of attention.
That cop thinks everyone is the enemy, just as he was taught in the military. He is the civilian future we were expecting – it has arrived.
The dogs aren’t embarrassed, but I am. Art belongs on canvas; the dogs look like clowns (but clowns know what they’re doing). This is one more proof that Coppinger knew what he was talking about when he said that dog breeding is not the best use of a dog.

Dogs being painted up like clowns, etc. I’m glad their dogs enjoy the attention. Wish my corgi would stand still for a few moments of regular brushing. At least he’s quit trying to nip me when I brush his hind quarters. He just rolls over and flaps his little stubby legs at me then. 🙂 I’m going to get one of those grooming gloves, I think. Then I might be able to brush even his tummy.

San Jacinto County has 25-30,000 population, so it may have trouble keeping deputies. Still, it seems like a special kind of careless to hire another department’s problem.
Not surprised about the cops’ war on the deaf. There’s reason/s why there are a high proportion of deaf males are prisons. They hate anyone who can’t instantly obey their ‘oh so clear’ shouted commands. Also not surprised about the “justified” shooting of one.
Oh, and the “need” for training to recognize whether someone is deaf or not? THEY. DON’T. CARE.
I really liked the book by the Coppingers, especially the description of all the stages going from observation to eating prey and how different breeds are missing different stages. My recollection also is that the book described a breeder of a large mountain dog of sorts who said the dogs should be pure white and he would cull those that weren’t. The page included a picture of a very happy and contented mother with pups, some of whom weren’t all white. I found the sight very unpleasant.
