“Nationalizing 5G.” In the one actual paper I found, the _proposal_ is a little different: Partnering with and subsidizing companies to establish standard security protocols for the 5G networks they’ll build and own themselves. .gov still shouldn’t in that biz, but it’s a far cry from “nationalizing” something that won’t exist for years.
But… .gov security… sheesh.
Are we getting closer to a cancer vaccine?
A very promising method of immunotherapy!
My wife was on immunotherapy for a while. It’s called Nivolumab (it’s marketed as Optivo and there’s TV commercials for it) and it didn’t have the damaging side-effects that chemotherapy caused. It stopped the spread of the cancer for a while and actually cause it to reverse a bit, but then it stopped working and as I’ve shared previously with fellow “Living Freedom” commentators the cancer finally took her. It’s wonderful to read about this new immunotherapy!
I offered the Manchester museum $100 for the painting, plus reasonable shipping and insurance.
The memo has been released: http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/documents/national/read-the-gop-memo/2746/
It doesn’t say anything that surprises me or that hadn’t already been reported/suspected. I think we all knew that the FBI plays fast and loose with FISA.
I wouldn’t say William Henry Harrison is my favorite president, but I can think of several others I wish had followed his example in office.
The new cancer treatment is indeed exciting. It’s not a “vaccine” at all, but probably a lot better. I’m just wondering how this will be introduced, or if it even will be. The big pharma companies stand to lose billions on standard chemo if this pans out. I guess we will see just how powerful those companies are now. I’m going to try to keep track of this story, especially if it vanishes now.
Of course the FBI, and every other law enforcement agency plays fast and loose with warrants of all kinds as well.

Note the article on Calvin Coolidge was written by a high school student. I have read dribble written by supposedly Ivy League graduates. Excellent work.
Years ago when we checked in one night to the Willard Hotel in DC, I asked the front desk to give us one of their haunted rooms, he said he couldn’t that night but he could put us on a good floor, so when we got to our floor there at one end of the floor was the Calvin Coolidge Suite, now that really got my hopes up.
Well later that night (oh like 3am) I did hear some noises out in the hall, so I woke up my better half and asked her to check it out for us, I can’t remember exactly what she said to me at that moment but I do kinda remember it wasn’t the nicest thing she had ever said to me, so I reckon we may have blown our only chance to ever meet Calvin.
Read the piece on “Liberal Totalitarianism”. So first question is what are “Right-wing neoliberal Democrats”. The thing read like something by Lyndon LaRouche. He had the same habit of inventing terms out of thin air, and if you did not subscribe to his particular brand of socialist workers philosophy, it made no sense. i also tend to discount sources that bandy about phrases like “white supremacist”, without any supporting evidence. Once in a while, criticism from the left is useful, but in this case it seems to be hopelessly muddled.
UPS DOGS- very cute.My GSD could care less,my Husky wants to eat the UPS guy,yet loooooves all the guys from fed-ex.And UPS is by far the best delivery outfit where we live.
I cant figure it out.
My favorite president, William Henry Harrison, he had the decency to die after just one month in office.
Claire,
With respect to “Liberal Totalitarianism and the Trump diversion.”

Doh.
The anti-alcohol drug Antabuse kills cancer cells but does not harm normal cells. This made the news a couple of months ago because researchers have found out how it works. However, its anti-cancer properties have been known since the early 1970s.
So why wasn’t it used on cancer patients? isn’t that the Holy Grail of cancer treatment, killing cancer cells without harming normal cells? It ticks me off this wasn’t given to people, or at least publicized more. I came across it at random in a Yahoo news feed.
I have lost a number of family members to cancer. Wish I’d known about this when they were sick. Instead, they took the toxic, expensive chemo, and still died.
I’ve always figured that unless something is viral and extremely dangerous, “they” will rarely let any “cure” come to the marketplace, so to speak. Any cure is likely to be a short term thing, like one shot and that’s it, where’s the money in that? “They” can usually make ridiculous amount of money just treating the symptoms without “curing” them of whatever ails them.
Another example would be the shaving industries, if they ever get wind of a product that can allow you to stop hair growth, like on your face for example, they will do whatever they can to stop or destroy the product.
Know why we can’t have “nice things”? Follow the money.
Antabuse against cancer. I didn’t know. I’m sorry your relatives didn’t know, either, Noah Body.

Antabuse may well be promising, but it is not a “cure” just yet. As usual, far more research and clinical trials are needed… hopefully well constructed. Now, it just seems to ” lower risk of death from cancer than those who stopped taking the drug at their cancer diagnosis.” The new immune system treatment has far more potential, I think. If the big pharma outfits try to block it here, I suspect there will be a lot more medical tourism then.
