  • Oh yes, those New Zealanders are just rushing to turn in their eeeeeeeevil guns. Bear Bussjaeger comments.
  • I had this exact same thought while reading Elizabeth Warren’s preposterously inane boast about how she’d stop the coming economic crash. Lady, you’re gonna cause the thing yourself with those policies.
  • Meet the Liberator 3D-printed 12 ga. shotgun. (H/T RT)
  • No surprise, but at least it’ll be entertaining: It’s flamboyant, ever-fascinating crazy man Boris Johnson to replace Theresa May as prime minister.
  • Hahahaha. Bernie got caught not paying staffers the $15/hour minimum wage he advocates. So he did what everybody else does when they’re forced to pay.
  • I’ve been trying to stay away from the whole NRA-tearing-itself-apart flap, but punishing the dissidents and demanding loyalty without accountability is sad and stupid.
  • I also try to stay away from the multitudinous Trump and anti-Trump flaps, but this one involves a dog, so here goes: Twitter excoriates Ivanka because she gave her daughter a dog of the wrong color.
  • And if anyone’s still wondering why the beautiful, stylish, sophisticated Melania has never gotten Jackie-style love from the American fashion gods, well, it’s because Michelle Obama is so awesome.
  • With all the unknowns, some people have concluded that the strange “sonic attacks” in Cuba were nothing but myth and hysteria. But there have apparently been real changes in the brains of U.S. embassy staffers.
  • You may not like the term “silencer,” but Ammo to Go has created a comprehensive guide with decibel-level testing.
  • Acknowledging 17 hard realities about life can help us get unstuck and keep us moving ahead.

I use a Hostess Twinkie when I need an expedient improvised ‘silencer’…

Interesting that even a suppressed .22lr round, the quietest of the bunch, is still as loud or louder than a thunderclap (according to this: https://www.noisehelp.com/noise-level-chart.html and the results from the linked article). So much for the Hollywood “pfft” sound of silencers….

I rolled my eyes at all the “Trump is a racist” calumny before now. But a white dog? With blue eyes? Oh, how wrong I was! It’s so obvious!

What’s the procedure for impeaching presidential offspring?

When a womyn starts a twitter-flame over a little girl’s puppy it’s pretty clear which one is the bitch.

    Paul – Exactly

Voltaire said “A Man is free the moment he wishes to be.”

Perhaps a lot deep thunk going on in New Zealand about now.

A suppressor can be very quiet depending on the design and caliber. Many years ago I had a class III FFL and had a couple of 10-22’s that were reworked from ground up with a built in suppressor, not a screw on type. They looked like a bull barrel 10-22, think the brand may have been AWC. They were actually silent, when firing you could hear the firing pin strike and the action cycle. Also had their version of a Mark I or 2 .22 pistol, it sounded like a air gun/pellet gun, not silent but not loud.
