One more wish …

If I could make one more Christmas wish, it would be that when you buy from my Amazon wish list, you add a note to identify yourself and (even better) give me a way to contact you.

Wonderful gifts have begun arriving, but some senders aren’t outing themselves. Or I have a name but no contact info.

So to all I’ve been able to thank personally and all I may never know …

  • For the two-disc set of Hunger Games DVDs … thank you, Mr. or Ms Anonymous. (I watched the movie the other day and it was even better than in the theater.)
  • For delicious, fabulous California dried apricots, thank you, SC.
  • For more delicious, fabulous California dried apricots, and the book Northwest Foraging, thank you, MJ.
  • For security-enhancing, survival-packed, non-GMO garden seeds, thank you, NC!
  • For the really-seriously-desperately needed Victorio food strainer, thank you, K.
  • And thank you, Mystery Gifter, for the equally desperately needed apple corer-peeler-slicer. I am truly set to tackle those cider apples now.
  • Though there was no name attached, I think I know who deserves thanks for the giant — and completely unexpected — bucket o’ tennis balls. Funny thing; I didn’t have that on my wish list. So it appears that Ava (who, after all, is half border collie and therefore unusually smart for a dog) has managed to get her paws on a computer and create an Amazon wish list of her own.

Well, Ava will have to wait for Christmas to play with her new toys. But a couple of those other things are going to be put to work today.

And for everybody whose gifts are still on the way, keeping me as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve … thank you now and I hope I get to thank you more personally later.

If any of you Secret Santas want to reveal yourselves, I’ll be happy to hear from you in the comment section.
