While last month wasn’t as big as November 2012, this month is considerably bigger than last December. A lot of people out there are going to get some really nice Christmas presents. I’ve been expecting things to slow down, but just when I think you’re done shopping … you’re not.

Though I’m not asking for a thing this year other than for you to use those links, I feel mightily blessed. Several very nice surprises have appeared at my door. And I’m still buzzing with happiness and wonder over the gift of sight that a couple of amazing readers gave my old friend (and the most rugged, cussed, amusing hermit blogger in the world) Joel. Joel said that gift “made his year.” Pretty much made mine, too, just to witness the goodness.
Yep, pretty much renewed the hope back into me too. Proof that inspite of all the bad news, personal misery moments, etc etc etc this year – good people do still exist out there. And just maybe they aren’t outnumbered, like it seems to be only because the bad stuff is louder a lot of times.
