The recent wretched run of spree killings and the rising level of well-funded noise from the Bloombergian “Moms” seem to be hitting a lot of gun-rights activists in the heart.
Some are sick and tired and fed up.
Some, like Weerd Beard, remain more hopeful.
For the discouraged, I share some thoughts in this weekend’s JPFO alert.

And here are a couple of mood enhancers from JPFO
All the JPFO writers now have their own archive pages. The fiery Nicki Kenyon. Ever-alert and thoughtful Kurt Hofmann. Reliable researcher David Codrea. Older voices like L. Neil Smith and the late Kirby Ferris. I’m there, too.
Just go to the JPFO home page, scroll down and click on the appropriate blue button on the left. Webmaster Chris has done a terrific job. He even found some of the older pieces I wrote with Aaron Zelman and included them.
Also, the JPFO-logo ESEE Izula knife is back — this time in green. The last time JPFO got some of these (in black), 100 of them sold out in less than 48 hours. This time they’re being offered in special packages with other items. Quantities are limited — so go have a look and get ’em while you can.

I don’t doubt that we will win, but I can see a place where we arrive with all our guns and still lose our property rights, livelihoods, and freedom of association. Too many are taking up the Republican standard as an answer… Bush was led us down this dark path, don’t kid yourself otherwise. The only answer I see is voluntary disunion. But as someone recently pointed out to me that’s more likely to end up like Beirut then Scotland.
Great article at JPFO. Please keep up your good works.
