- Liberty or tyranny, happiness or misery, life or death. You decide. (H/T WRSA)
- And along similar lines, Paul Bonneau reminds us of a classic piece of his: “A New Berry Bush for the Garden.”
- The natives are surely getting restless when a law professor says things like this. The prof in question is Glenn Harlan Reynolds. But still …
- Yet another reminder that the Internet is full of idiots.
- Campaign challenges users to quit F*c*b**k for 99 days. (Hey, I think I’ve beaten that challenge already!)
- Malkin hands it to Bloomberg. Hands him his posterior, that is.
- And yes, that healthy anger is growing and growing.

I dumped F——k years ago. The only problem I’ve had (and actually it is getting worse) is people reporting stories, but linking to FB posts about the stories instead of the reports themselves. For awhile, I’d do searches and find the original reports. Now, I just figure that if someone wants me to read a report, they can bloody well link to it rather than someone’s ego-booster.
Same here, Bear. I won’t load a FB page for any reason. If the original is something I really want to see, I use a search engine and find it.
Plus one, never had a FB page and never will….Twitter is loaded with links to FB, if it weren’t for that I’d probably never come across reading there, either…If I have to use those kinds of sites, Twitter’s short speech and numerous pictures is about all I can handle (social media wise)….But essentially, all any of them are is huge time sucks….
Love the berry bush story…thanks the linkage! Shoot, shovel and shut up was quite the thing up in Montana (where I lived all too briefly); maybe it’ll start taking root more often in more places!
The “Fed Up” story: “But maybe the Leviathan just gets too big to ignore and the people rise up, and vote them out of office, en masse.
LOL. Spoken like a true, clueless Statist. The tyrants can only hope that’s what happens…
I agree with Kent. The “Fed Up” essay was pretty good except for that one sentence. But to be fair, she’s writing for a Fox News website and probably couldn’t get away with saying anything more inflammatory. Perhaps (am I being naive?) she was expecting us to read between the lines for what she really meant..
Enjoyed the “You Decide” piece. There’s other stuff on that site which looks interesting, too. Might be worth following.
I’ve never joined FB even though I have a niece who works there. Just can’t see the point.
The “Enemies Trilogy” is free on Amazon right now: http://www.amazon.com/Matthew-Bracken/e/B00350B7EU/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_1

More than one way to “vote.”
The Spielberg thing? Lots of the anti-hunting folks have never been 50′ from a sidewalk.
“Lots of the anti-hunting folks have never been 50′ from a sidewalk.”
LOL. That’s why they’ll need the boxcars.
Why is that asshole who flashbanged the baby still alive?
I’m not a fan of Malkin, but that piece was pretty good.
As was the “Fed Up” article. I’ve noticed a lot of people getting pretty radical these days.
I tried Facebook for a while but bailed. It seemed to bring out the worst in people, who needs that? The user interface was irritating as Hell. I’m glad I am done with it.
Ellenda, too bad I’ve already purchased them all!
