“Disappearing” David Codrea

Now it’s not only Mike Vanderboegh who is persona non grata at KABA. David Codrea gets sent down the Memory Hole.

Remains to be seen whether all things Codrea will be “disappeared” or just that one news item.

As David notes, KABA is Gottlieb’s property. He can ban anybody he wants from it. But perhaps somebody should send Mr. G a copy of The Commissar Vanishes and a certain Orwellian book or two

I learned a while back that it doesn’t pay to get into an argument with a forum/blog owner (I received a similar sort of treatment). Only one side of the story gets told.

Wonder what caliber Gottlieb will choose next to shoot himself in the foot…

Only one side of the story is told on THAT blog, perhaps. I think this will have a little wider circulation. 🙂

The much earlier print version was, “Never insult someone who buys ink by the barrel.”

All too true. Except that of course David never got into an argument with Gottlieb. He just made it clear when he went with the new JPFO (and apparently Gottlieb agreed) that his work was not to be censored, even if he said something Gottlieb disagreed with.

No argument at all (though I don’t know what words may have been spoken after David’s article was banned). Gottlieb just broke his pledge. And apparently for no reason other than personal spite toward Mike Vanderboegh. Everybody who knew David (including Gottlieb) was aware that censoring him would be the trigger event that caused him to walk away.

Gottlieb may be the one “buying ink by the barrel” here. But he’s also the one who’s in the wrong.

The bad news – for Gottlieb – is that ink is much cheaper now.

I don’t know where to get ink by the barrel. Amason I guess.

It is regretable that Gottlieb has fragmented and offended most of the real 2nd amendment folks. Much energy down the rat hole, never to be reclaimed.

David made it on tonight as a fill in on a guest panel.

    I’m relieved.
