Commenters may now edit their own comments. The editing window is only open for a few minutes, so proofread your writing right after you post a comment. When the time window closes, you’re stuck with it.
Update, Monday, 8-8-2016: You should find that the text in the commenting form is much easier to read now.

Thank you! (That was fast response….)
You’re welcome.
Ditto on the thank yous, HWFIW! Many, many Commentariat members will no doubt be grateful.
Hey, I’m just editing my own comment to see how it works. Five minute window. That’s good.
Yikes, I hope as an admin I still have endless editing powers, ’cause sometimes it takes me way longer than five minutes to realize I’ve made an eejit of myself.
Admins have god-like editing powers. So much so that I had to test the function from another machine as a guest not logged in.
Suggestion; The font for comments is very small. It could use a bump up perhaps. (about 130% on my browser is more comfortable)
And – are comments always going to be moderated or did I do something untoward?
This is a tist.
I mean, a test. The editing works. Great!!
I just realized, I think the fonts are a little small, too.
The system moderates new commenters. This is a new blog, so all commenters are new here. Once you’ve gotten one comment approved, you won’t get moderated again (unless you put too many links in a comment).
Shel and Fred — We’ll see what we can do about the comment font size. Thanks for the heads-up. Meanwhile, if the font size is giving you trouble, can you use your browser’s zoom function to momentarily enlarge the page?
Sir and Claire, I normally wouldn’t complain, this being private property, but since you said that I should not be moderated anymore I want to point out that I am still moderated. I thought to press the issue due to concern of a technical problem on your end. (although I do like to see a task (my comment) completed) And like I said, in a different thread, if this is by design then I accept it.
Font size fixed (at least in the browsers I tested with).
