- Worried some disgruntled ex might post intimate images of you (known these days as revenge porn)? The simple solution is now available. Just pre-emptively send F*c*b**k whichever of your most sensuous photos you happen to be concerned about and … yeah, somebody thinks that actually makes sense.
- Democrats hit their lowest approval rate in decades. Then sweep yesterday’s elections.
- That 84-year-old doctor in New Hampshire continues to fight an uphill battle to get her medical license back. The state keeps pushing the notion that she “voluntarily” surrendered it. (Sort of like we “volunteer” to pay income taxes. After we’ve been subjected to a high-pressure audit.)
- A hospital of the future with no patients.
- Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the communist revolution. In its dubious honor, have: the day Susan Sontag told the truth about communism and lessons from a century of communism.
- Be aware when ordering CBD extracts online. The dose you order may not be the dose you get; could be more or less or also contain THC.
- Rand Paul apparently deserved to be tackled from behind and beaten up. Because he breaks HOA rules and he’s a libertarian (sic) …

If this doesn’t piss you off you are dead. Revolting…bonuses!

Is it just me, or an odd coincidence that the 100th anniversary of the communist revolution was the day they all came out to vote?
Facebook: Yep. I can see no possible way that plan could go wrong.I wonder what would happen if people flooded them with ordinary pics of Zuckerberg and family.
Oh, dear Bog. I read the Aussie gov page. In Australia, you send your dirty pictures to the government, and they forward them to Facebook. I hope there are no illegal activities in those images.
Democrats: Yeah, people hate Democrats. But Republicans are pissing on what used to be their base, and folks are finally noticing that the “rain” is yellow. Shoot, I sent my senators a note opposing bump-fire stocks regulation. Isakson’s staffweasels sent me a reassuring message that Isakson will protect my 2A rights by doing all he can to get the stocks regulated as NFA items. Next mid-terms, I’m going to check every Dem block I see. The Dem want to fuck me as bad as the Rep, but the Dems won’t lie and say they love me.
“I hope there are no illegal activities in those images.”
And no dishonest or prurient people in government. And no insecure computer systems. And no surveillance bureaucracies scooping up the images as they fly from you to government FB. And …
I took all those as inevitable, both in .gov and FB.
I’ve always been morbidly amused by folks expecting to.gov to protect us from bad people when .gov is staffed with people from the same population they’re worried about (and with a higher percentage from the “bad” subset).
Interesting popularity poll. Apparently the msm are still playing the “who’s getting the most voter love” game without noticing the answer is “neither of the above.”
“Dems hit lowest approval rate in decades. Then sweep elections.”
Simple psych warfare and a rookie Sun Tzu (“Art of Warfare”) mistake. Dems got their opponents – and, especially, voters – to become complacent and underestimate their enemy.
Either that, or the polls and pollsters are liars. Horrors! Say it ain’t so, Aunt Belle!
[PS. Independent voter. Not an endorsement of any decadent political party.]
Send pictures of my junk to FB? No way. That’s far too intrusive a way for Zuckerberg to expand his ‘facial recognition’ capabilities.
On the other hand it might just jumble up their algorithms enough to make the whole system think I look like Kilroy. (Ala ‘Kilroy was here’.) Anonymity acquired!
The Democrats winning despite low approval ratings? MeThinks they went back to digging up voters again. Stuffing those ballots boxes.
“…hospital systems are paid more when their patients are healthy, not sick.”
An obvious idiocy… those who are healthy don’t need any doctors, or hospitals – virtual or other. And the only way the government would pay for healthy people, of course, is if it totally defines health! And mandate it… or whatever.
The virtual hospital idea might work for some folks, of course, but it must develop in the free market and be totally divorced from coercive government to be either viable or cost effective. It will never replace hands on medicine in any case.
So much for my plan to swamp them with every public photo of Zuckerberg
I can find.
Facebook Workers, Not an Algorithm, Will Look at Volunteered Nude Photos
First to Stop Revenge Porn
https://www.thedailybeast.com/facebook-workers-not-an-algorithm-will-look-at-volunteered-nude-photos-first-to-stop-revenge-porn
“According to a Facebook spokesperson, Facebook workers will have to
review full, uncensored versions of nude images first, volunteered by
the user, to determine if malicious posts by other users qualify as
revenge porn.”
HOA boards are filled with tiny tyrants and suppressed bureaucrats. If a Libertarian joins one he deserves any punishment he receives.
Finally, a rational suggestion regarding Facebook’s plan to get free porn: make the photo hashing tool available so people create the hash and send that in.
Naturally the suggestion didn’t come from .gov or FB.
Brilliantly written article, too, HWFIW. I’ll add that the the latest links post with credit to you.
