What is it supposed to be? Looks like an old bathtub filled with assorted plumbing parts…. I can’t play the video… I disabled video somehow, and don’t know what to do to restore it. sigh

    Disappointing:
Back in the ’60s, everyone just knew that by the turn of the new century, we’d all have flying cars.

Instead, we’re telling people not to eat laundry soap.. This century ain’t working out like I”d hoped.

LOL. I’ve been hearing about people eating Tide pods, but I dismissed it as one of those crazy alarmist “news” items akin to the latest deadly drug scare. I never read beyond the headlines to learn what it was all about.

    People are actually doing that?

Apparently yes. If YouTubing, daredeviling teenagers can be called people. 😉

Hey! I figured out how to activate the video players! It is a bathtub! LOL But leaving it out in the middle of the parking lot doesn’t seem like a great idea. Oh well. 🙂 Could use some wheels for ground maneuvers. Trying to think where I might park something like that in town… I don’t think it is possible, but I’d sure love to try – especially when the ice and snow have me trapped here on the hill. I can usually get down in my car, but sometimes it doesn’t work to get back UP the hill.

Nope… needs to be a flying CAR. An aircraft when that’s best, and a wheeled car on the ground other times. Actually, I’d much rather just teleport, but suspect that’s a long way off in the future. 🙂

Pretty cool. I’d like one! I’d worry about the blades, though. Not so much for the pilot but anyone in the vicinity during takeoff and landing. Needs some sort of a shield.

    Ha! 🙂 That’s hilarious! Heck, I always wanted a flying bathtub! 🙂

Claire, I’d been hearing about the Tide Pod challenge, but hadn’t really looked into. I suspected that it was another of those hoaxes generated just to see if the idiot media would pick it up as real.

I still can’t tell for sure.

I’m constantly having to remind my 10 year-old daughter that all those “challenges” are for idiots. The “challenges” are constant; just one thing after another to see who’s stupid enough to do it. One a while back was the “How long can you be on fire” challenge, where people made videos of themselves with their clothes on fire to see how long they could wait before putting it out. Let Darwinization work..
