Atlas Shrugged: the DVD

Just got the word: Atlas Shrugged, Part I will be out on DVD on November 8. They’re taking pre-orders now.

Confusingly, there are four editions & it’s not clear what the differences are between them, other than some commemorative labeling. Still … the price is reasonable and it’s good news for all you backwoodsers who never got a chance to see the film in Big City theaters.

Thanks. Got mine, the Reason edition. The differences are in the special features; this one seemed best to my tastes.

Freeholder — Ah. Thanks! I see now. I didn’t realize that if you clicked on the item you’d get a description of the special features. Guess I’ll go for the regular Special Edition, myself.

What? You didn’t opt for the “Official” Rearden Metal Bracelet? ; )

I might go with the FreedomWorks version for the lovely Taylor Schilling on the cover.

Oh lord, Jim B. The four labs are a hoot.

And I would have gone with the Official Rearden Metal Bracelet if they were asking a realistic price for it and if I wore bracelets. I think it’s beautiful, even though it’s not remotely like I pictured it while reading the book.

Yeah, I know, I thought the price ridiculous for what is basically plated Aluminum Alloy.
