Never tick off a stadium full of soccer fans. After that one cop face-planted, I thought they’d need a spatula to get him off the pitch. By southern European (I gather they were Portuguese) soccer fan standards, they (the fans) were really quite subdued. A few head-kicks and they backed off – and they let most of the other cops escape uninjured.
