Six cows, an “antigovernment” family …

and a Predator drone.

Somehow it’s not surprising that “antigovernment” people would be the first.

Supposedly they used the drone to make sure these “enemies” were outside and unarmed. Not sure how they could tell about the unarmed part. Do Predators see through clothes, or what?

(Thanks once again to JS.)

The Predator probably saw their “Arsenal” of weapons that were found in the house (according to the “Stars and Stripes” piece): “… four rifles, two shotguns, assorted bows and arrows and a samurai sword, … .”
We can’t have people keeping such dangerous weaponry in their homes now, can we? Especially that samurai sword, just to think what one could do with something like that….!
    😉

LOL, indeed, Kyle. My god, they might even have had steak knives or something. After all (also according to the “Stars & Stripes” piece), they were hardcore “armed gunmen.”

Which everyone knows is far worse than an unarmed gunman.

“Hey! Teacher! Leave them kids alone! All in all it’s just another brick in the wall.” After the infamous lyrics from Pink Floyd. First, we were told the military can only be used overseas against enemy combatants, but then decided to declare America a battlefield and all U.S. citizens potential combatants. Next we say predator drones (unarmed) are only for the border, then it can be used in criminal probes, but only with a warrant. Next slip down the slope will be without a warrant and eventually it will be without a warrant and armed against U.S. citizens, but boy we will be so safe by then from terrorist it will be worth it!

(“… four rifles, two shotguns, assorted bows and arrows and a samurai sword, … .”)

This phrase sounds like they should come from a song rather than an evidence list.

Especially along the lines of the 12 days of Christmas.
