As Joel blogs on his bad days, “I got nothin'” today. I’m tired, whacked, gloomy, and was awake half the night pondering The Meaning of Life and other imponderables.
So here’s a cool jumping cat gif for ya, courtesy of A.G. I’m filing it under “dogs” because I don’t have a cat-agory. Consider me inclusive and non-discriminatory.
If you’ve arrived with NoScript, you may need to allow Feedburner to see the gif at work. Or go here.

Once you’ve had a bit of rest and recover, I hope you’ll share some of those imponderables. I’d much rather ponder imponderables than repair the washing machine.
It’s amazing how high-or far- a cat can jump-even my 16 pound lardbutt tomcat. There’s times I wonder if he’s got Cavorite bones.
That’s actually quite an impressive clip. The grace, smoothness and attention with which that cat executes on his goal is simply beautiful.
Maybe I just needed that sort of inspiration today, but thanks for sharing!
Shot in “300-o-vision” yet! I love it.
Don’t waste your time pondering the meaning of life. The answer to the question is 42! And if that answer isn’t satisfying enough then maybe you should watch more movies. All of life’s problems and questions have been solved in the movies.
😉 Cheers
LOL, Richard — Yes, but what is the question? That’s the … erm, question.
Karen, may your washing machine have a long and happy life. Somehow, on those days of pondering the imponderable, broken washing machines, dogs having close encounters with mud puddles, people not keeping their word, and dust bunnies on the floor all seem even more annoying than usual.
What is it about cats today?
One of my friends lost a cat today. It got out of the house and got hit by a car. The cat had lived with the family for 15 years and they are very sad. Then, in my inbox, I found a link to a remote-control flying dead cat. Hmmm.
Kent — I don’t know what it is with cats today, but I also saw the remote-control DEAD cat and was so grossed out.
