I’m home. Which at the moment seems a decidedly mixed blessing. It was a great getaway. I’m glad to be here (and very grateful to the friend who came over and turned the heat on hours before I arrived), but not at all ready to return to the world of bad news.
While I get ready to face reality, here’s a funny trapeze act for you.
Die Maiers — trapeze from Joachim Mohr on Vimeo.
I’ve never linked a Vimeo video before, but this isn’t on YouTube. Hope it works.
“but not at all ready to return to the world of bad news.”
We all read about the incidents of “let ’em eat cake” throughout history and it seems hard to understand with our perfect hindsight. But the more bad news we see it’s easier to understand how we might all want to ignore what’s going on and somehow hope it all works out without us having to stress on it. I wish.
The vimeo didn’t work for me inline with my old copy of Puppy Linux but it worked over at vimeo.com. Those Maiers are muscular folks!
Thanks Claire, I needed a good laugh.
More amusement trivia which I just received from a friend: http://serviceapi.nmv.naver.com/flash/convertIframeTag.nhn?vid=474B4F2BD467C4BFE4D91AF4652C72A4AA6C&outKey=V12858d2b8b0d99e5b8530aa19375f94d973e6c28482e7cbc9b750aa19375f94d973e&width=720&height=438
