Yeah, sort of funny and sickening all at the same time.
I remember a flight before 9-11, with a great deal of fuss over my cane. I had a bad hip at the time and needed the cane for balance. They took it away from me and darn near destroyed it trying to make sure it wasn’t hiding a sword or something. There were morons involved long before the TSA, unfortunately.
