JPFO’s newly revised history (please brain-wipe any previous versions of JPFO’s history you erroneously imagine you know even if you were personally there to witness them)

Oh man. This is sick. And I don’t mean that in a good way.

I’m not surprised at this slick rewrite of reality — especially not after reading the multitude of lies about JPFO that were carefully fed to the gun media during the sellout to SAF. Still. Gag a maggot.

And equally unsurprising … how much do you see there about charging forward into the future with JPFO’s never-compromise message at the fore? Nope. Just aren’t we wonderful? Now send us money.

No, definitely not surprised.

Just got done reading it. No comments section… I wonder why. Not.

Snakes and liars… Pretty much says it all.

ML — No comments section; I didn’t even notice that. Given that webmaster Chris went to a fair bit of work to add a comment feature to JPFO articles shortly before the sellout, it does seem telling if they don’t want comment on that piece.

Pretty disgusting bit of work altogether. There was no reason to write it at all except to Orwellize the recent unpleasantness. But OMG, even then they didn’t have to make it SO smarmy, so used-car-salesman-y.

And that Korwin focused on glorifying and prettying up the story of certain individuals while basically ignoring the real issue — what’s JPFO’s message going to be now that it’s been yanked from its never-compromise roots and placed in the hands of THE most compromising “leader” in the gun world? — is the most telling detail of all.

Where’s the message? Where — amid all that hagiography of Bob Meier — is the meat, Korwin?

You are encouraged to get involved by:
    a) donating sorely needed funds [send money]
    b) increasing your membership to a higher level [send more money]
    c) joining if you’re not already a member [yep: money]
    d) getting your friends, Jewish or not, to join, and [get other people to send money]
    e) volunteering. [free work so JPFO doesn’t have to send money]
Call or write to the office for opportunities to help. [probably a list of other ways to send money…but I’m just cynical]

Jews for the Preservation of Financial Offerings…

No, I’m way past mere cynicism.

Yeah, Mama L, that’s one thing that really got me too. Reminds me of so many Prozi websites, “Gun Safety” videos on YouTube, etc.

What, you don’t WANT comments on this? I’d have more to say but, right mom. If you can’t say anything nice about somebody… Looks like Bear summed up the acronym nicely.

I expect them to soon be peddling plans for “free energy generators.” Hurry! Before the oil companies remove this data! … BS, JUST like I got from some SAF “Conservative/Freedom-oriented web site money machines.
