Holy cats. I owe some extremely serious thank yous and those thanks will be delivered as best I can deliver them.
To say this was unexpected when I thought the fundraiser was winding down is an understatement. But every dime will either go into building the new website or go under my house (where the beetles munching on the present foundation beams will be surprised, sometime within the next year, to find themselves evicted from their increasingly porous homes).

Speaking of the new site, it’s moving along now. You can’t view the progress yet, sorry to say. I haven’t had a chance to touch that under-construction home page; everything that’s currently happening is behind the scenes. But as soon as He Who Fakes It Well has worked his tech magic and I’ve had a chance to get in there and do some artsy and functional tinkering, I expect to have something to show you. And then I return to developing that home page.
Everything that’s happening is happening because of you.

Over goal… 🙂 That’s something I love to see, especially for someone like you. But I’d say to charge ahead with the house thing… those beetles are not going to stop munching and the very thought of them being there would make me nervous.
Waaay over goal. In looking ahead beyond the results of the fundraiser, it promises not only the satisfaction of stated goals, but the possibility for solvency in the future.

The exploding thermometer is a fun possibility. Unfortunately I don’t believe it’s possible to have both that and a graphic that accurately updates the fundraiser status. I’ll play with it, though.
Right now, HWFIW is busy constructing the upcoming member site. And don’t forget, everybody who’s donated more than $20 to this fundraiser gets a membership of at least three months (and quite a big few of you have earned looooooong memberships).
