- Amidst the cruelty of the Manchester bombing, heroic kindness from an unexpected source.
- Um, yeah. So somehow making tasty burritos in Portland puts women in Mexico out of work? Scott Greenfield has more, including a direct look into the minds of the cultural appropriation pecksniffs.
- But having looked at the nuttier side of life in the PNW, here’s the saner part: v*ters in Washington hated both Trump and Clinton more than the v*ters of any other state.
- NPR, being politically correct, makes this about body shaming. Sure. In part. But sentencing this mean little twit of a Playboy Playmate to community service is really more like a victory for privacy.
- Yet another “only one.”
- Don’t panic. Today is Towel Day.
- Awww. A high school includes a student’s service dog in its yearbook photos.

The California invasion of privacy bill IS a victory for privacy, but invasion of privacy should have been the issue from the beginning. Mathers said, “That is not the type of person I am.” But obviously it is, or she wouldn’t have thought to take the picture and do the body-shaming at all. Personally I’m tired of excuses and apologies after the fact; nobody’s sorry they do the act, they’re just sorry they got caught.
So if, say, Pepe Gomez emulates Burger King’s hamburgers in Ciudad de México, does that mean he “appropriates” American culture?
Too bad the Times didn’t ask voters a similar question: Did you hate both candidates, but held your nose and voted for the one you hated less?
Note to Self: Showing people about guns, good; doing so while in a bar, notsogood.
Pat — That self-justifying and obviously dead wrong remark by the nasty Playmate rankled with me, too. Of course she’s “that type of person.” Can she actually believe she could surreptitiously take a picture of an out-of-shape 70-year-old, publish it, make a snide comment and NOT be “that type of person”? Ugh.
As to Pepe Gomez … indeed. Heck, not a single SJW can get through a single day — probably not a single hour — without in some way appropriating someone else’s culture. When the rest of us get fed up enough to “mob” back at them, they’re gonna be in some serious cultural hurt. Because absolutely nobody is culturally “pure.”
