“…after two nights of rigorous testing, I can also state categorically: IT WORKS!”
Nothing worse that a bedroom that doesn’t work! I really like the Bentwood. Good job Claire.
God, that’s great. I can’t look at those old YOW pics without praising your courage and/or insanity. Congratulations! Many pleasant years of residency.

Ignorance, Joel. You’re praising my blind, willful ignorance. Or greed. All I could see when I bought the place was a $10k house on a gorgeous piece of land. We’ll forever have to wonder whether I’d have bought the place had I had Clue One about what I was getting into.
But thank you, All. Getting the bedroom finished felt like an eternity of hard work. I’m glad it was worthwhile.

Wow, really starting to look like a home. Congrats, Claire, and continued good luck and progress to you. I would host a house-warming-party, except that I live nowhere near you …

10 Grand???? No wonder you jumped on it,well done!
Hahahahah, jordanms. Let us not forget finishing the laundry room, repairing seams and corners that popped when we jacked the house, building a deck and porch, exterior finishing, flooring, skirting, re-doing the living room ceiling, baseboards everywhere, creating a “real” pantry …
But later. All later. For now, guess I’ll have to stick with poly-ticks. And maybe books and art and …
It has, that’s a lot of sweat you should be proud
Congratulations, Claire! On a HARD job well done. I like the bouquet of dried reeds on the wall; it’s more homey than pictures or shelves.
Looks very good. 🙂 Congratulations.
Let me show you its features!
Amazing transformation. Congratulations, and thanks for the pictures!

Sweet. Even your roommate looks pleased.
May your dreams be just as sweet.
