- Kit Perez on learning from our opponents (and how sometimes IRL isn’t really IRL and other topics of resistance).
- In Colorado: First cannabis; next magic mushooms?
- Don’t say unpleasant things about your jerk of an ex-husband on Facebook. Not if he happens to be a jerk of a cop.
- This is sad. Guess which three institutions around the country have the largest number of beds for the mentally ill. This is not a problem anyone can easily solve.
- Millennial males — even, and perhaps especially those with college educations — are getting crushed in the workplace. (The eventual backlash against the destruction of manhood will be interesting to watch — preferably from a safe distance.)

Kit is right on as always.
One other thought, the media and it bias, what one group does will not always work for another but if you can play that bias to work for you that’s the really big trick.
The real problem with the “mental ill” thing is not whether or not there are “beds” for them… The real problem is who defines this “mental illness” – and why.
It is far too easy for even those with every good intention to label any behavior or lifestyle they don’t like as symptoms of “mental illness.” This includes doctors and psychiatrists, mind you. As well as cops and bureaucrats, of course. Remember, this gives all of those with the power to define this “illness” immediate and pretty much total control of the person, and often their families.
Very, VERY few of the so-called “mentally ill” ever demonstrate any tendency to violence against others, and violence toward themselves is no clear indicator of aggression either.

What does it say that I had to look up IRL? LOL
Hallucinogens have the potential to finally bringing a medication to the playing field that is far safer and effective than the pharmaceuticals for mental illness. I never thought I’d see pot legal, the hallucinogens Im pretty sure I wont see legal. They break your chromosomes and its the same thing to your brain as frying is to an egg. Those beliefs arent going away any time soon, especially with the fossils in congress.
If I could choose just one drug to make legal,it would be LSD.You either understand why or would have to research it….it opens brain pathways that are closed that can give you lots of insights into life you wont otherwise see.Breaks harmful pathways as seen in alcoholism and the drinking urge and response.
That dirty cop should be in jail for life for the crimes he has committed.Rape,kidnapping…..
The story about millennial males being crushed makes me cringe. These kids (I’m old, so I can say that) have been pushed into education paths that have no basis in reality and leave school totally unprepared for the realities of real work. While in school from the 1st grade, they are not allowed to fail, so they don’t know how to deal with the emotion of failure. When they join the work force and can only get a minimum wage job, they don’t know how to deal with it.
To add to the misery is a crushing debt load. Maybe 20% of available jobs call for any kind of degree but the job market is flooded with lettered individuals. It is beneath the majority to get into the trades where money is to be made, so instead of going through the steps to be a plumber or electrician etc they come out of school with a degree in sociology or some other fuzzy subject and the only work they can find is flipping burgers at minimum wage. Sadly as the various places raise minimum wage, these jobs will disappear, being taken over by robots.
To extend Mike’s remarks into Kit’s realm, the poor (non-)schooling across several generations has left many people incapable of applying reason to what they see, hear, or experience. They no longer understand how to separate reality from desire, action from reaction. Nor have the “reality” shows of television helped this perception that allows one to distinguish between fact and fiction, or between theory and tactics, even between good guy and bad guy.
So life becomes Either-Or, “you’re either with me or against me,” and this has become the mantra of Presidents (such as Bush #43 and Obama, and possibly Trump, though I don’t recall him actually saying those words yet), just as it has of SJWs and others.
Kit’s remarks were interesting, in that it’s very easy to slip into non-thinking mode when in the company of like-minded people – when it becomes crucial NOT to be thought as “less than pure.” They may hesitate to admit to recognizing the truth from a radical or an “enemy” because they haven’t learned how to think an idea through. This is especially true of those who have newly come to a cause and are eager to be a part of it.
The one good thing when I was young about the protests from the left was the girls and now they have ruin that too.

For those of us that are obtuse, it might be a good idea to start by defining “IRL.”
“IRL” = “In Real Life,” as in not on a computer or part of a game. The “Buying Your First Handgun” class I finished up today was IRL, five students at the outdoor range shooting handguns from .22LR to .44 Mag.
Thanks, larryarnold. I’m old and all I do with the computer is read and send/receive emails.
