Updated update: Paperback version of Basics of Resistance

Kit and I have officially completed the book. She uploaded the paperback file to Amazon yesterday afternoon.

May I utter a hearty “Whew!” and a “Whoo hoo!”?

Release date is April 19 (same as the Kindle edition).

I assume Amazon will allow pre-orders, but they don’t allow a special pre-order price on paperbacks.

It’s a slender book, 150 pages, but absolutely packed with information. And you get the expertise of two for the price of one (plus the added expertise of those who helped us).

I’ll let you know when the listing has gone live and Amazon is taking orders for the paperback.

Meanwhile, the Kindle version remains at its incredibly low $0.99 pre-order price, and will also have an incredibly low $3.49 regular price. Most non-fiction Kindle books cost a lot more than that. The low Kindle price is intended to build new readership among our target audience (younger freedomistas). So thank you for your pre-orders and let your freedom-loving sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, grandkids, neighbors, wards, and whoever else you can think of know.

    April 19. Again, so appropriate.

I haven’t thought of that Larry, yes how appropriate, now Claire and Kit; I betcha you planned that didn’t you? If not than there’s something else working here methinks.

It’s really neat to go to Amazon and see best seller and from now on it can always be called an Amazon best seller!

I believe that “younger freedomistas” and prospective ones are a point where a lot of focus would be a really good thing. History, economics, reward for innate curiosity, are I fear discounted in education of the young. Self motivation and autonomy are not anti-social. Freedom is real and the young should be encouraged to embrace it.

Circulate a million and we await the rest in the series.

Yes, April 19 was part of our Devious Plan. And we love having best-seller bragging rights (even if it means we’ve sold only a few hundred copies so far).

Speaking of our Devious Plan, we’re about to make a change to it that we believe will be pretty welcome. More tomorrow.
