  • Fight back against a brutal cop and be charged with a federal hate crime? Bad idea. Very bad.
  • A sex worker describes the harm the feds’ seizure of Backpage is doing to her.

  • Sure, that’ll do it. Solve the Illinois government pension crisis by putting more taxes on homeowners’ backs. The economic ignorance from the Chicago Fed is as stunning as the venality of their proposed “solution.” (Via Why in comments)

The Illinois government pension crisis solution is a very small version of the upcoming federal solution to the national Social security crisis methinks.

So, the minority of people who aren’t covered by hate crime laws is set to shrink a bit more.
The answer is simple. If you just include us, everyone will be protected by hate-induced enhanced sentences.

Why the hell would you want friends and casual strangers to see where you’re spending your money?
    Venmo: Conspicuous consumption? 😉

What happens on base, stays on base.

Personally, one of the great mysteries of human sociology is why so many people are so fanatical about strictly and unnaturally regulating one of the handful of essential human behaviors. It’s as normal as eating and sleeping. If it wasn’t for sex, we wouldn’t be here.
But O.M.G. how the pecksniffs obsess over “doing it.”

I’ve gone back and looked at those pix and their acid comments three or four times. My favorite is still the “vet” examining the husky. But the wild fantasy of that writer one definitely has a certain charm.
