I will soon (not yet) be taking monthly subscriptions at: https://www.subscribestar.com/living-freedom-blog.
SubscribeStar needs me to put this URL on my blog before giving final approval to my SubscribeStar profile. Everybody else can ignore this.
This is because I have no social media presence. And because they need to make sure I’m the person in charge here. And other reasons. I think. 🙂
I’ll take this post down once they give me their approval.
Yes, Claire is what she says she is.
Honest, decent, and trustworthy, she works very hard to keep freedom front and center amidst the totalitarian Babel of the modern world.
Dear SubscribeStar;
Claire is a lot more real than you are, and has been for a lot longer than you have.
Awwww, You guys … 🙂
“This is because I have no social media presence.”
Is that because you’re actively against the idea, or because it strikes you as too much of a bother?
If it’s the latter, the problem is easily addressed with one or two WordPress plug-ins. You post to the blog, the plug-ins post a notice to e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Diaspora, and so on. Other than setting up the accounts, you don’t have to interact with the social media sites at all if you don’t want to.
I’d be glad to help you set that kind of thing up. I’m sure there are others here who would as well.
No social media presence?
Is that allowed?
LOL, Joel. It’s allowed … for the moment.
Thomas L. Knapp — Thank you for your very kind offer. But yes, I am actively against the idea — or rather, actively against the social media giants and the trail of destruction they’re leaving across our culture.
Claire,
No problem. I understand the sentiment. Don’t agree with it, but I don’t have to, do I? 😀
