The local rescue group put on an event over the weekend. They wanted a pit bull, bulldog, or some sort of bully mix to man a “Kiss A Bull” booth. The idea was to raise a few bux while also helping to un-demonize bully breeds.
My Robbie may be only part bull, but he’s the kissin-est dog in two counties. At least. So he got chosen and I loaned him out for the day.
The same fabulous photographer who earlier took pix of my dogs at home was at the event and got these shots of my boy in action. He kissed the hours away. At the end of the day (as you’ll see) his kisser and all the rest of him were wiped out.
I was at the event part of the day wearing a gorgeous purple “The Best things in Life are Rescued” tee-shirt gifted to me earlier in the week by coloradohermit. I’d take a picture, except that my camera is broken (couldn’t find a shirt like it on line; mine was way cuter). The shirt was a big hit, and nobody minded a bit that it advertised a different shelter. 🙂

Awww … Robbie is such a handsome guy and obviously a great lover … thanks for sharing!! You must be so proud:-)
My pug would love that job!
“Gee, Ma, I’m tired. This kissin’ sure wears you out.”
Aww, cute!
At last, a job Robbie was born to do well.
Amazing! Looks as if everyone had a great time. 🙂
I’m sending this to another pit bull rescuer I know.
Good ol’ Mr. Licks! ;^)
