Three awesome videos

For your weekend viewing pleasure.

Whoof! This would be amazing even it weren’t being performed by a 53-year-old movie star. It’s oddly beautiful, besides.

Wind-powered monsters. You’d swear they were alive.

And finally Naked Dancing Swedes.

You’ll have to click on the link to watch it. YouTube has this locked away behind an “adults only” login. So I can’t embed it and am sending you to an alternative (non-locked) site. And yeah … it’s kinda R-rated. But funny.

Now those Swedes were funny. 🙂 The “covers” just make it more fun. Loved how nobody in the audience was acting “offended.”

Had to go hunt down the backstory to the Jean Claude ad. Because I really doubted it when I first saw it. They still insist that other than a hidden harness (hanging on to him “just in case”) that it’s real. And that’s the first take, except there were a lot of rehearsals. Had 15 mins to catch that sun just right, on top of it. And his feet aren’t nailed down to anything, LOL.

But he is 53 and spent a good amount of his life physically encouraging arthritis and pain – so I dunno about this ad. But it is beautiful otherwise.

Those moving sculptures are giving me ideas for how to keep critters out of my garden. I’d love to see the deer’s face when they see a moving dragon!

It looks like the trucks, with trailers, were backing up. Wow.

Good luck. At the range, we have whitetails who munch the bushes atop the 25 meter berm while we shoot into the 7-yard berm.

I have my doubts that those trucks were backing up. I think it more likely they just ran the “tape” backwards, and the trucks were actually going forward. But then, maybe they do have the tech to make backing up trucks easy; I suppose that was the point of the commercial.

    (later)
Woops, looks like they were backing up after all. There was another youtube of the Volvo guy explaining to Van Damme how it would work.

Wow. That ought to sell some trucks.
