Re: Google & Dick’s – So far, distributors seem to be willing to step up and supply what people want. Fingers crossed.

Re: Piers Morgan – Literally LOL. Ahh, Piers…I’m sure you see zero irony in your interviewing of this person.

Amazingly, and (what should be) embarrassingly tone deaf. At least that’s being pointed out to them in the comments section: https://www.facebook.com/HQATF/photos/a.1591301604415043.1073741829.1484720555073149/2038591663019366/?type=3&theater

The dog vid was needed today. Thanks for that. 🙂

“Ahh, Piers…I’m sure you see zero irony in your interviewing of this person.”

It’s astonishing how often Piers Morgan comes across as a rational, sensible person — when the subject isn’t guns.

Ah the police union, once again demonstrating that the police are no more than a group of paid mercenaries. Sadly the public has failed to grasp the dangers of entrusting their safety to a group who fight for the highest bidder.

I see that Dick’s isn’t alone, Walmart has jumped on the “don’t sell evil black guns or guns to anyone under 21″ bandwagon.” I wonder what the owners would say if it was pointed out to them that punishing a group for what an individual might do is fascist.

    Mike,

They may or may not know that, the thing is they couldn’t care less, the bottom line for any business is the bottom line, nothing wrong with this of course, that’s capitalism.

For a store like Dicks or Wally-World firearms are a small part of their profits, so as soon as the profit on guns affects the profits on socks, or beer they will change their policy, dropping guns all together if need be.

This is why anyone who supports gun rights should shop at a dedicated gun store.

Quality and returns are an issue with gun and related purchases at chain stores, as well. Not so much at your local 2A supporting shop.

    Kroger: No more gun sales at Fred Meyer stores unless you’re 21;

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2018/03/01/kroger-fred-meyer-stores-guns/384289002/

Since I will not step into a Costco, Kroger/Fed Meyer, Dicks, or Walmart ever again; that is good news for my local small businesses for sure.

When it comes to Trump, a man with no principles, does it matter what he says about anything? He has a habit of saying the opposite a few days later anyway. It only matters what he does really. But if he gets elected again (however I do think he just committed his “Read my lips” moment which has been known to create a one term president) just watch out for what he might do!

I’d like to see the full criteria going into the USN state rankings. Quick scan, they rate the California economy a 4, and Texas 8. Opportunity; Calif. 46, Texas 47. Crime & Corrections; Calif. 28, Texas 27. Education; Calif. 26, Texas 37. Quality of Life; Calif. 50, Texas 46.

Yet everyone is moving to Texas.

Once again, it’s simply irrational to believe that:
    A. Gun control is something nearly everyone wants, and
    B. It takes courage to vote against the NRA,
    at the same time.

Too bad they don’t need our money. Otherwise it’d be another “Smith & Wesson must die” movement. After all there’s not that many of us, right?

Our company still sells AR’s, but the word went out through the buying office a couple of days ago to scrub any merchandise that ‘glorifies’ guns. We are now keeping the world safe from NRA and S&W t shirts.

We’re getting lots of hate calls, however. Our weekly advertising tabs are printed and queued up for distribution a month before they are released, and we have a page of guns in every one of them (along with 23 other pages of anything from coffee makers to horse feed). The anti-gun people are extremely upset that we would have the insensitivity to put out an ad the week of the shooting featuring AR’s.

So far, no other restrictions. I think we’re trying to fly under the radar. I’ll stop by the gun buyer’s office today and see how his business has been.
