Does it strike anybody else as hysterical

… that now that the Supremes appear to be negative on Obamacare left-types oppose an “activist judiciary” and “legislating from the bench”?

Haven’t they been cheerleaders for exactly that for lo these many decades? Aren’t they the folks who’ve always said the Constitution is a “living document” that means whatever it’s interpreted to mean at the moment?

Oh. Wait. I forgot. That’s only because the decisions have nearly always gone in their favor. Chutzpah.

Hysterical? In which sense of the word?

Actually, it strikes me that both sense of the word are appropriate.

Good. A good (i.e. well reasoned, like Heller or McDonald) decision in Florida v. HHS and a few more good Citizens United free speech cases will have the left really hysterical (in both sense).

It will be almost as much fun as watching catastrophic anthropogenic global warming collapse. Popcorn futures are up.

It’s amazingly hypocritical. This country would still be viable if not for the Judicial activism of the left. For him to even say it shows what I’ve been saying for a long time. He’s a sock puppet who’s lazy, out of touch and directed by the opinions of idiots.
