Over at Practical Freedomista, I introduce an everyday resister who actually needs no introduction around here.
It’s a mini-profile of David Gross, legal tax resister and former culture jammer who I’ve linked to many times before. He’s also a reader and occasional Commentariat member and got several mentions in Basics of Resistance.
Still, he’s new to many and a perfect example of resistance that’s principled, steadfast, effective, but also legal and non-violent.
Speaking of the book … the prize books are here, signed by Kit and soon to be signed by me and sent off to the meme contest winners.

But wouldn’t that be an interesting gathering, if all the memers came to pick up their prize books at the same time? I’d buy the pizza and mix the bloody Marys and Margaritas!
I’d bring one of my almost-famous homemade desserts, and several bottles of homemade wine!
Oh, that would be some party, wouldn’t it? If I had the energy, I just might host that.
I’ll need a ride. Anybody passing through? Lemme know so I can get a neighbor to feed the hens.
I can carry a lot of food for the hens.
Not so sure I can do desert wash and other such earthly gifts.
Still working on fixing that though..
