Waco Janet is dead

Died this morning, says NPR, in an article full of pro-state twists and lies. “‘Oh, so THIS is what it felt like for all those women & children to burn alive in Waco’ – #JanetReno in hell” — says Gab.ai poster Blue Vino. Which is more the truth than NPR will ever manage.

  • Still maddeningly elusive, but the most damning new rumors about the Clinton Crime Family come closer to confirmation, as powerful forces try to keep them down. WikiLeaks and Anonymous, where are you?
  • Washington state may be reliably blue according to the pundits. But we just got an interesting reminder that it’s Bernie blue, not Hillary blue. One of the state’s 12 electors announced he ain’t v*ting for Hillary. No way, nohow, not ever.

  • I still don’t know whether it’s true …

… but we may be about to find out. For days, news has been going around the alt-right that revelations are about to come out about the Clintons that are so far out there that every other Clinton scandal pales beside them. The accusations have been very specific and involved (among other things) child sex abuse on a large scale. But all this “news” had its origins in one unreliably sourced story on one website that nobody ever heard of before. So like a lot of people, I’ve been watching but skeptically. BIG sale over at The Zelman Partisans

FYI, over at TZP, everything in the store (except memberships) is 20% off between now and December 31. This includes those amazing roof-prism binoculars that were already a bargain at $29. Only 19 of those left as I write this. Also includes the super-sharp custom Kershaw folding knives, of which just 21 remain. And Zippo lighters, TZP yarmulkes, ear plugs with carrying cases, targets, genuine Victorinox Swiss Army knives, morale patches, and more. Good Hannukah or Christmas presents. For somebody else or for yourself. Several items are definitely “get ’em while you can,” as they will most likely not be…

    Thursday links

  • Bill Weld has turned the Libertarian Party into even more of a fiasco than it’s previously been. He’s not only driving away individuals with his ignorant anti-gunnery and his preening support for Hillary Clinton. Even state LP organizations are holding their noses and running from him.
  • Mike Jordan, who participated in the Cascadia Rising exercise and is busily answering questions for a Living Freedom interview, sends along these two links — mostly of interest to communications folks: Cascadia Rising Resources and the Department of (Achtung!) Homeland Security’s National Interoperability Field Operations Guide (which Mike say is damn good considering the highly suspect source. Scary, but also full of wonderful info, he adds).
